Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The eleventh edition of Cityscape Abu Dhabi is scheduled to launch on Tuesday, 18 April under the patronage of Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
This year’s edition of Cityscape Abu Dhabi is expected to be the largest in terms of project announcements and exhibitor participation since 2011, exhibition manager, Carlo Schembri said, according to a statement.
Schembri added that over 100 exhibitors will showcase their latest projects, noting that the increased development of free zones provides diverse opportunities for investors.
“Abu Dhabi is making positive steps towards its Vision 2030,” the exhibition manager noted, pointing out that the positive market sentiment as well as the expected government spending in new non-oil projects will contribute in economic recovery.
The UAE is forecasted to record a 2.5% growth in gross domestic product (GDP) in 2017, and 3.2% GDP in 2018, according to a report published by FocusEconomics.
The UAE government is expected to invest $40.554 billion in supporting infrastructure across the country. Developers in the capital of Abu Dhabi and other emirates are looking "to capitalise" on increasing tourist and visitor numbers over the next three years.
