Abu Dhabi rents up 2.9% in 2015

Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi rents increased by 2.9% in 2015, while home value recorded growth of 1.7% during the same period, according to a report by Cluttons, a property consultant and estate agent.

There is huge shortage in the number of affordable houses in Abu Dhabi as the average house prices have increased by 34% since 2010, said Edward Carnegie chairman of Cluttons Abu Dhabi.

The shortage gave real estate developers the chance to fill this gap by providing houses with affordable prices, taking into consideration the high quality of buildings.
