Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi’s exports of aluminum, copper, and iron increased 15% year-on-year, or AED 1.1 billion, to AED 8.63 billion during the first ten months of 2018, from AED 7.53 billion, the Statistics Centre - Abu Dhabi (SCAD) reported.
Aluminum exports of the UAE’s capital and biggest sheikhdom amounted to AED 3.7 billion in the ten-month period ended last October, while iron’s exports hit AED 1.49 billion, the emirate’s state-run statistics agency said.
Iron-manufactured exports leaped 10.5%, or AED 731 million, to AED 2.2 billion from January to October 2018.
Abu Dhabi’s copper exports rose 40.3% to AED 2.7 billion in the January-October period of 2018, from AED 1.9 billion in the prior-year period.
