UAE – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Department of Energy (DoE) is set to participate in the upcoming 24th World Energy Congress (WEC), held from 9 to 12 September, as a host sponsor, according to a statement released on Tuesday.
The 2019 edition of the WEC will be the first to be held in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. DoE’s chairman, Awaidha Murshed Al Marar, will take part in the opening session of the event.
Planned to welcome 66 ministers, 300 exhibitors, and over 15,000 visitors from around the world, the WEC will showcase investment opportunities in the energy sector of Abu Dhabi.
