Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Total exports of Abu Dhabi increased by 36.6% to AED 17.2 billion during the fourth quarter of 2018 compared to AED 12.6 billion in the corresponding period of 2017, according to a recent report by Statistics Centre − Abu Dhabi (SCAD).
Abu Dhabi’s exports were backed by the businesses sector that grew by 32.6% year-on-year, or AED 4 billion in the October-December period of 2018.
Meanwhile, total imports of the oil-rich emirate inched down to AED 27.4 billion in Q4-18 from AED 27.5 billion in the prior-year period.
