Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi's food trade amounted to around AED 4.66 billion during the first quarter (Q1) of 2020, according to the Abu Dhabi Customs.
The imports, exports, and re-exports of food products reached AED 2 billion, AED 1.7 billion, and AED 822 million, respectively, in Q1-2020.
The food trade was carried out through 41,000 transactions at an overall weight of over 1.18 million tonnes.
It is noteworthy to mention that during the first three months of the current year, Abu Dhabi's foreign trade of pharmaceutical products amounted to AED 799.7 million.
