Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi’s hotel guest arrivals rose 4% year-on-year during the first five months of 2017, according to a statement by the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority.
Hotel guest arrivals reached 1.97 million during the first five months of 2017.
Domestic visitors represented more than 600,000 hotel guests across the emirate’s 167 hotels and hotel apartments in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain Region, and Al Dhafra Region.
On the global level, China is the largest source market with 160,902 hotel guests so far this year, followed by India with around 136,000 hotel guests, the UK with 104,000, the US with over 67,000, and Saudi Arabia with more than 62,000 arrivals.
