Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The number of hotel guests in Abu Dhabi increased by 4.4% year-on-year to 4.12 million visitors during the first ten months of 2018, official data showed.
The number of guests is expected to hit a record high as the New Year season is approaching, according to a recent data issued by the Department of Culture and Tourism.

Indian guests
Indians topped the list of travellers to the emirate with a total number of 335,100 during the period between January and October, up 15.2% from the same period of the prior year.
Meanwhile, Chinese visitors came on the second place after rising 10.7% to 333,600 in ten months, followed by British guests with an increase of 8.5% to 219,100 compared to the same period the year before.

As for US guests, their number hiked 23.5% to 158,800 travellers in the ten-month period ended October, compared to 128,600 visitors in the same period a year earlier.
It Is worth noting that Abu Dhabi’s hotels welcomed around 2.88 million until the end of October, up 6.3% from the same period the year before.
