Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi’s inflation rate in consumer prices for 2016 was 2%, compared to the prior-year period, according to a report by Statistic Center Abu Dhabi (SCAD).
Inflation rate in consumer prices was 0.8% in December 2016, compared to figures recorded in the same period of 2015.
Consumer prices fell by 0.5% in December 2016, compared with January 2015.
The “housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels” group accounted for the largest share of the overall y-o-y rise in 2016.
