Abu Dhabi's non-oil foreign trade up in 10M

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The volume of non-oil foreign trade through various customs ports in Abu Dhabi rose 1% year-on-year in the first half of 2016, according to Abu Dhabi Statistics Center (SCAD).

 Non-oil foreign trade reached AED 141.31 billion during the first half of 2016, compared to AED 139.96 million in the prior-year period.

The value of re-exports increased 22.5% to AED 19.20 billion in the first ten months of 2016, compared to AED 15.69 billion in the same period of 2015.

Imports stood at AED 97.80 billion in the same ten-month period of 2016, down 0.6% from AED 98.36 billion in the same period of 2015. Non-oil exports declined 6.2% to AED 24.29 billion as at 31 October 2016, compared to AED 25.90 billion as at 31 October 2015.
