Abu Dhabi’s non-oil trade rises to AED 14.25bn in March

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi’s non-oil trade rose by 2.5% year-on-year to AED 14.25 billion last March from AED 13.9 billion.

Industrial supplies have topped Abu Dhabi’s imports with AED 4,038.6 million, followed by transport equipment and parts imports which hit AED 2,693.3 million, according to a report released by the Statistics Centre of Abu Dhabi (SCAD).

Japan came in the first spot of the top non-oil exporters to the Emirate at a value of AED 1,346.3 million, while Saudi Arabia was ranked first among the Arab countries and third globally with AED 1,152.5 million.

The SCAD had previously announced that Abu Dhabi’s non-oil trade fell by 17.8% to AED 11.32 billion in February 2018, compared to AED 13.69 billion in the prior-year period.
