Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi’s oil production reached 1 billion barrels in 2017, while the emirate’s oil exports hit 876.2 million barrels, according to the Statistics Centre Abu Dhabi’s (SCAD) recent report.
Crude oil exports represented 81% of Abu Dhabi’s total production last year, the state-run statistics agency added.
The average price of Abu Dhabi’s crude oil rose to $53.2 per barrel (pb) in 2017, from $42.7 a year earlier.
Abu Dhabi’s output of petroleum products inched up 0.32% year-on-year during 2017, while petroleum product exports made up 60.4% of total production.
The UAE capital’s natural gas production reached 3 trillion cubic feet in 2017, recording a 13.5% growth from 2016.
