Abu Dhabi's pharmaceutical trade at AED 800m in Q1-20

UAE – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi's foreign trade of pharmaceutical products amounted to AED 799.7 million during the first quarter (Q1) of 2020, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

The emirate's trade of pharmaceutical products comprises AED 589.6 million imports, AED 85.6 million exports, and AED 125.4 million re-exports.

The trade of 2,300 tonnes was conducted through 1,469 transactions during the first three months of 2020, as shown by data of the General Administration of Abu Dhabi Customs.

The UAE's foreign trade of pharmaceutical products is expected to grow in 2020 amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
