Abu Dhabi targets 25% rise in tourist arrivals during 2016

Kuwait – Mubasher: The Emirate of Abu Dhabi is seeking to boost the number of its tourist arrivals during 2016 by 23-25% from 5 million in 2015.

Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority launched a roadshow in several GCC countries to highlight growing opportunities in the emirate’s business and tourism sectors, Sultan Al Mansoori, GCC Country Manager, TCA Abu Dhabi, said during a press conference held today in Kuwait.

The top official added that TCA Abu Dhabi seeks to boost the number of Kuwaiti tourists to it, whose number currently stands at 16,000.

The number of tourists who arrived in the UAE capital rose by 18% in 2015 to 4.105 million, from 3.49 million a year earlier.
