Cairo – Mubasher: Abu Qir Fertilizers reported a net profit of EGP 751.6 million during the first quarter of fiscal year 2019/2020, slightly down from EGP 752.8 million in the year-ago period, the company’s unaudited financial results showed.
Meanwhile, the company generated EGP 1.986 billion in revenues during the three-month period ended 30 September, compared to EGP 2.15 billion in the corresponding period a year earlier, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Monday.
It is worth mentioning that during FY18/19, Abu Qir Fertilizers logged a net profit of EGP 3.15 billion, rising by 30% year-on-year from EGP 2.4 billion.
