Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Five UAE-listed insurance stocks saw an active trading in Monday’s mid-session.
In Abu Dhabi bourse, Methaq Takaful Insurance was the value leader after generating AED 48 million, representing around 50% of the market’s traded value worth AED 101 million. The stock also topped gainers after adding 15%.
Regarding Dubai’s stock market, the insurance sector was the best performer after adding 3.06%, with a turnover of AED 35.20 million. Takaful Al Emarat supported the sector after topping gainers with a 14.76% rise, generating AED 7.86 million.
Islamic Arabic Insurance Co. ranked second value leader with a traded value of AED 21.85 million, rising 3.34%. Similarily, Dar Al Takaful advanced 5.61% after generating AED 17 million.
