Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) plans to start production from offshore oilfields in 2018 and 2019, according to Qasem Al Kayoumi, Offshore Division Manager in Adnoc.
“One field will start production early 2018, while two other fields will begin in 2018-2019”, Al Kayoumi added on the sidelines of Middle East Petroleum & Gas Conference.
The company is currently giving a priority to such long-term projects, and it is reviewing them from an economic perspective
“Adnoc seeks to cut its costs by 25% in 2016,” Al Kayoumi noted.
