Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s housing ministry announced receiving advance payments of EGP 118.1 million after 2,994 citizens applied for booking 30,000 land plots offered by New Urban Communities Authority for the low-, middle- and high-income earners.
The advance sum of the housing plots allocated for low-income households amounted to EGP 25,000, while the advance amount of the parcels offered for the middle- and high-income brackets stood at EGP 50,000, and EGP 250,000, respectively.
The housing ministry said that it would receive the advance payments of the land plots as of 2 – 22 July at all Housing and Development Bank ’s (HDB) branches.
The land plots of the social housing will locate in Sadat, El Salheya El Gedida, 10th of Ramadan, and other cities.
Meanwhile, the plots of the middle and high-income segments will be in New 6th of October, Badr, 10th of Ramadan, New Cairo, El Shorouk, in addition to further areas.
