Dubai – Mubasher: Afkar Capital is looking forward to listing exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on other GCC markets, according to the company’s CEO Seif Fikry.
The company listed the first ETF on the Dubai Financial Market’s (DFM) platform.
This step is subject to the availability of regulations necessary for such funds, the company’s CEO told Mubasher on the sidelines of the conference related to the launch of a trading platform for ETFs by the DFM.
The company is currently focusing on launching ETFs in the UAE, Fikry noted.
The DFM has launched on Sunday a trading platform for ETFs.
