Mubasher: Agility Public Warehousing said that its fully-owned subsidiary, Agility DGS Logistics Services, was awarded a contract from the United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS).
Agility, which is listed on both Boursa Kuwait and the Dubai Financial Market (DFM), said that the contract covers purchasing, storing, and transporting food products, according to a bourse disclosure on Sunday.
The main duration of the contract is three years at a total value of $236.4 million, in addition to another two years based on the performance. That will bring the total value of the contract to $391 million.
The contract will generate a revenue that will impact Agility’s budget during the three or five years of the deal.
