Kuwait – Mubasher: Agility Public Warehousing is interested in acquiring Kharafi National, the contracting arm of Kuwait’s Al Kharafi Group, sources told Mubasher on Tuesday.
Agility has presented a verbal offer for the purchase of Kharafi National, the sources, who preferred to remain anonymous, said, noting that talks were likely to be more serious in the coming period.
Al Kharafi Group recently agreed to sell its 67% stake in Americana to an investor alliance led by UAE businessman Mohamed Al Abbar in a deal worth $2.37 billion.
Established in 1976, Kharafi National’s operations include infrastructure and engineering works alongside administration for utilities and buildings.
