Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Agthia Group posted a decline in its profits by 15.5% year-on-year during the second quarter of 2017, according to a bourse statement.
Profits reached AED 65.79 million ($17.9 million) in Q2-17, compared to AED 77.86 million ($21.19 million) in Q2-16.
Selling and distribution expenses rose 12.3% to AED 85.98 million in Q2-17 from AED 76.57 million in Q2-16.
In the first half of 2017, profits fell 18.6% to AED 118.22 million from AED 145.37 million in the prior-year period.
