Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Agthia Group posted a year-on-year growth of 14% in its profits for the first quarter, according to a bourse statement.
Net profits reached AED 67.5 million ($18.38 million) in Q1-16, compared to AED 59.2 million ($16.12 million) in Q1-15.
Revenues amounted to AED 485.9 million ($132.56 million) in Q1-16, a rise of 11.7% from AED 434.9 million ($118.39 million) in Q1-15.
Selling and distribution costs rose to AED 71.26 million ($19.40 million) this quarter (during the period), compared to AED 50.34 million ($13.70 million) in the same period last year.
The company’s stock advanced 0.54% to AED 7.45, after generating AED 75.52 million from the exchange of 10,140 shares.
