Dubai – Mubasher: Kuwait is a promising market with strong potential, said Adel Ali, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai-listed low-cost airline Air Arabia, adding that his company is awaiting the expansion of Kuwait International Airport and upgrade of its infrastructure to increase its flights to it.
The statement came during the CEO's participation at an aviation summit.
Ali added that Air Arabia currently has six daily flights bound for Kuwait; four from Sharjah, one from Cairo and another from Amman. The number of these flights is increased during vacations.
"We currently have 8 million passengers annually on board to 115 destinations worldwide. The current fleet comprises 44 aircrafts and will be delivered six new Airbus 320 planes in 2016 and six others in 2017," said the CEO.
