Dubai-Mubasher: Air Arabia managed to deliver “a strong set of numbers" in 2015 despite the economic and political challenges in the region, backed by its expansion strategy, efficient operations and tight cost controls, said the airline’s Chairman Abdullah Bin Mohammad Al Thani.
He added that Air Arabia’s positive results enabled it to remain well positioned for further growth in 2016.
Air Arabia reported a 13% profit decline to AED 59 million ($16.06 million) in the fourth quarter of 2015, compared to AED 68 million in the same quarter of 2014.
In the fiscal year 2015, net profits declined 6% to AED 531 million from AED 566 million in the fiscal year 2014.
