Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The number of issued licences in Ajman rose 7% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2017, according to a statement by the emirate’s Department of Economic Development (DED).
Issued licences totalled 1,053 in Q1-17, compared to 985 issued during the same period of 2016.
A total of 5,597 licences were renewed early this year, up by 2,437 licences from the first quarter of the previous year.
The renewal of commercial licences went up by 74% year-on-year in Q1-17, while renewed industrial licenses saw a 62% growth during the same period.
Renewed professional licences grew by 83% to 2,377 in Q1-17, compared to from 1,296 recorded in the same period of last year.
