Ajman's AED 21m surgery hospital construction to begin in May

Dubai – Mubasher: The construction work of the AED 21 million ($5.7 million) Zayed One Day Surgery Hospital in the Emirate of Ajman is planned to begin in May 2018.

The medical facility will be built on in Rashidiya, downtown Ajman City, on a plot that was donated by Al Ihsan Charity Association’s (ACA) chairman Sheikh Mohammed bin Ali Al Nuaimi, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM).

The company that will undertake the construction works is not revealed yet.

"The hospital is the maiden project of the ACA's initiatives for the Year of Zayed 2018 and its operational and furniture cost is estimated at more than AED 21 million," CEO of ACA Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Ali Al Nuaimi said.

The surgery hospital is scheduled for inauguration by the end 2019 and is projected to complement ACA’s Al Ihsan Medical Complex in Ras Al Khaimah.
