Cairo – Mubasher: Ajwa Group for Food Industries – Egypt's on Thursday reported it has turned to loss during the first nine months of 2018, compared with the same period last year.
The company has incurred a net consolidated loss of EGP 867.800 in the nine-month period ended September, versus a net profit of EGP 11.07 million in the prior-year period, including minority shareholders’ rights, according to a bourse filing.
Sales amounted to EGP 1.13 billion at the end of September, versus EGP 1.18 billion in the corresponding nine-month period a year earlier.
In the first half of the year, Ajwa Group logged a net profit of EGP 29.83 million, up from EGP 6.14 million in H1-17.
