Cairo – Mubasher: Ajwa Group for Food Industries – Egypt said Wednesday that its consolidated profits for the second quarter of 2016 surged 252.5% year-over-year to EGP 15.9 million from EGP 4.51 million, according to a bourse filing.
Consolidated profits for the first six months reached EGP 22.5 million, higher 102% from EGP 11.18 million for the year-ago period.
Meanwhile, the standalone financials for the first half revealed that the company turned into profits after earning EGP 18.58 million against EGP 7.01 losses for the prior-year period.
