Akshaak launches UAE's first e-commerce platform for home projects

UAE - Mubasher: Akshaak, a Dubai-based company for electronic transactions, launched the UAE's first e-commerce platform to collect, market, and sell products of home-made businesses and individual projects.

Serving many sectors including food, beverages, health, beauty, and handicraft, the platform will also promote these businesses in local and global markets, according to a recent press release.

The CEO and co-founder of the e-commerce platform, Akshaak', Fahim Al Zubaidi, said that 200 stores have joined the platform that offers 1,000 products in the UAE, amid the plans to expand its services in the Gulf region and in all Arab countries later.

Al Zubaidi added that the digital platform aims to support productive families with limited income and the products of people of determination.

To encourage various groups of society to launch their e-commerce via the platform, Akshaak has entered into Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with several governmental and semi-governmental agencies.

Al Zubaidi remarked: "Electronic payment continues to raise consumer concerns from application digital shoppers, but the e-commerce platform Akshaak provides secure payment solutions to consumers through easy and simple options since the challenges of electronic payment have long been a major concern for many dealers using e-commerce platforms, especially with fraud and bank data theft, that’s prevailing."
