Riyadh – Mubasher: Al Ahlia Cooperative Insurance Company on Wednesday announced achieving a net profit of SAR 673,000 ($179,460) in January 2017.
Accumulated losses reached SAR 217 million by the end of January, accounting for 67.81% of the company’s capital, according to a bourse filing.
Operating profit reached SAR 36,000 in January, so that the earning per share reached SAR 0.02.
Written insurance premiums reached SAR 14,140, while net incurred claims amounted to SAR 12,550 million in January.
Al-Ahlia previously reported a net profit of SAR 440,000 in December 2016, so that its losses reached SAR 21.1 million in 12 months.
