Cairo – Mubasher: Al-Ahly Exchange Company has received foreign currency equivalents to EGP 12.5 billion in 2019, chairman Abdel Meguid Mohie El Din stated on Thursday.
A part of this amount was sold to meet the direct needs of customers, while the remainder was given to the National Bank of Egypt, Mohie El Din added.
The top official noted that his company opened 25 new branches in 2019, increasing the number of its branches to 32.
Moreover, Al-Ahly is planning to open new branches in the coming period to enlarge their number to 50 by the end of 2020, Mohie El Din said.
