Cairo – Mubasher: Al Ahly Leasing Company has obtained several loans at a combined value of EGP 1 billion from five banks during the first nine months of 2019, the company’s CEO Tarek Selim said.
More than 70% of these loans were directed to the real estate sector, Selim added on the sideline of a forum held on Tuesday.
Moreover, the company is in talks with two banks to get new loans in the current period, he noted.
The value of the new funding and the names of the banks were not disclosed.
In addition, Al Ahly Leasing Company also considers contributing to a syndicated loan worth EGP 300 million with two other companies to finance construction and contracting sectors, he revealed.
