Riyadh – Mubasher: Al Babtain Power and Telecommunication posted a 9.23% increase in its profits to SAR 35.5 million in the third quarter of 2016, compared to SAR 32.5 million in the same quarter of 2015.
The rise in Q3 net profits was attributed to lower sales costs of revenues by 72.4%, adding to lower financial expenses and general and administrative expenses, according to a bourse filing.
Net profits rose 18.9% to SAR 116.9 million in the first nine months of 2016, compared to SAR 98.3 million in the same period of 2015.
Total sales retreated 32.6% to SAR 246.7 million in Q3-16 compared to SAR 366.2 million in the prior-year period.
