Al Bawani partners with Saudi Contractors Authority

Riyadh – Decypha: Riyadh-based construction firm Al Bawani Compant Ltd signed a one-year partnership contract with Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA) with the aim of providing support to the contracting sector.

Contributing to the implementation of 2030 strategy, Al Bawani has entered this partnership in order to support development and organization of the contracting sector, said general executive manager at Al Bawani Fakhr Al-Shawaf in a 10 April statement.

The SCA’s role will be in imposing quality standards, encouraging innovation and skills development, improving communication between sector players in the kingdom and achieving the economic sustainability of the sector, according to Al-Shawaf.

Al-Shawaf called on companies operating in the contracting and building sectors to join the SCA, “so that it can plan strategies for the sector that meets workers in this field,” he said.

The construction sector is deemed the second biggest sector in the Saudi kingdom, coming after the oil sector, and it can share in leading the Saudi economic growth, he said.

Founded in 1991, Al Bawani company works in civil and electromechanical contracting. It works in buildings, infrastructure projects, consultancy and computer services.
