Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Al-Fahim Group has signed a new three-year partnership agreement with the UAE Triathlon Federation.
Under the agreement, Al-Fahim will collaborate with the federation to increase the number of triathlon events held in the UAE and raise Emirati participants in sports on a regular basis, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM).
"As an Emirati-owned organisation, we are committed to promoting healthy living styles in UAE, as well as facilitating a more active culture that will benefit all members of society,” group head of business Development in Al-Fahim Mohammed Abdulla Al Fahim commented.
The UAE national Triathlon Federation is planning to include 3,500 athletes in all ages for the 2019 edition of the ITU World Triathlon Abu Dhabi on Yas Island.
"Our tie-up reflects the commitment of both institutions to the continued progress of the UAE and the long-term well-being of its people,” head of the financial committee for the UAE Triathlon Federation Aamer Al Ameri said.
Triathlon is a multiple-stage competition includes the completion of three continuous and sequential endurance disciplines.
