UAE – Mubasher: Dubai-based retail giant Majid Al Futtaim has decided to exempt all tenants in the company's shopping centres from rent fees during the temporary closure period due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the company announced on Wednesday.
This move aims to ease the financial burden placed on tenants affected by the economic repercussions of COVID-19.
Majid Al Futtaim owns 27 shopping centres, 13 hotels, four mixed-use communities, and further developments underway in the region, alongside holding exclusive rights to the Carrefour franchise in over 30 markets in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
