Dubai - Mubasher: Majid Al Futtaim Group recorded a 7% increase in gross profits in the first half of 2016, to AED 1.9 billion ($517 million), compared to AED 1.8 billion ($490 million) in the same period in 2015.
Revenues in H1-16 rose 11% to AED 15.2 billion from AED 13.7 billion in H1-15, according to the company’s press release issued on Wednesday.
Al Futtaim Group successfully entered new markets in sub-Saharan Africa, and Kazakhstan, the company’s CEO Alain Bejjani said in the press release.
We are planning to open mew shopping centers in Dubai and Egypt, namely in Mall Misr, during H2-16, he added.
