Dubai – Mubasher: Al Futtaim Group has revealed the name of its new lifestyle shopping destination in Jebel Ali.
Named Festival Plaza, the new mall is scheduled for inauguration in the fourth quarter of 2019, according to accompany statement.
The new development will comprise a variety of retails including the second IKEA store in Dubai.
“With our sights keenly fixed on the future development of Dubai and our confidence in the growth potential during the build-up to Expo 2020, we see Festival Plaza becoming a major urban lifestyle destination,” Al Futtaim’s group director for retail malls Timothy Earnest said.
Located in Wasl Gate, Festival Plaza will include 100 retail outlets, a food court, café-style dining, a hypermarket, the UAE-based company revealed.
“Since we broke ground last year, we have received a hugely positive response from residents and keen interest from retail groups both internationally and in the UAE, and are very much looking forward to welcoming them,” Earnest commented.
