UAE – Mubasher: Al-Futtaim Group, a leading conglomerate company based in the UAE, announced it will open its latest local community shopping project, Festival Plaza, in December 2019, Al Bayan newspaper reported.
Spanning an area of 64,800 square metres, Festival Plaza will a suitable urban destination for the residents of the upcoming Wasl Gate community.
The project will serve the needs of South Dubai residents, as well as the surrounding communities including Jebel Ali, Al Furjan, Dubai Marina and commuters from neighbouring Abu Dhabi.
The new development will also feature a number of retail outlets such as LuLu Hypermarket and IKEA.
Festival Plaza will also include 120 various stores, as well as a 500-seat food court, around 40 dining and restaurants, child care spaces, family entertainment Kids Club, a cinema theatre, and over 2,600 parking spaces.
