Dubai-Mubasher: Al Habtoor Group purchased the Hilton London Wembley to boost the group's International hospitality portfolio, said Al Habtoor’s Chairman Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor.
The hotel, which opened in 2012, is comprised of 361 rooms and suites, an indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, in addition to a number of restaurants.
The purchase increased Al Habtoor Investment's -a subsidiary of the Al Habtoor Group - international property portfolio to six.
The group has two Hilton-branded hotels in Lebanon, one in the US and two five-star hotels in Hungary.
Al Habtoor said in December 2015 that he allocated AED 2 billion for overseas investments in 2016.
