Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Al Hosn Gas has issued the tendering documents for two contracts under a $2.3 billion project to build a sulphur-recovery facility at the Shah Gas Field, in Abu Dhabi, the UAE.
The first contract is worth $1 billion and incorporates the establishment of a refinery for desulphurising gas, a central cooling unit, an oxygen plant, and the relevant facilities, Albayan newspaper reported on Wednesday citing MEED.
The second contract includes gas collection and pipelines as well as laying pipelines and building a platform for the gas wells along with three gas collection lines, and a selling and exporting gas line.
The deadline for submitting the tendering documents is 26 October.
