Mubasher: The energy affairs minister of Qatar Saad Sherida Al Kaabi has led the official delegation of Qatar to the 101st Ministerial Council meeting of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries “OAPEC” that took place on Sunday in Kuwait, according to a recent press release.
OAPEC’s meeting included the approval of the 2019 budget, in addition to a review of reports; the recommendations of the 11th Arab Energy Conference, the Global Petroleum Status Report, and the report on the activities of the General Secretariat.
The Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Sabah received the OAPEC ministers at Bayan Palace in Kuwait City.
It is noteworthy that OAPEC was established in 1968, and is headquartered in Kuwait.
