Al Khiran Resort to be Kuwait's quarantine facility against coronavirus

Mubasher: Kuwait’s Touristic Enterprise Company (TEC) has allocated Al Khiran Resort to receive coronavirus (COVID-19) suspected cases who are undergoing the 14-day quarantine period, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.

The decisions will be effective as of Wednesday until further notice.

The step is in response to the finance ministry’s request to allocate the resort as a quarantine facility as part of the country’s precautionary measures to combat the coronavirus outbreak.

Moreover, the resort apologized to the public for closing and emphasized that it will refund booked tickets to all visitors.

Earlier today, Kuwait’s health ministry reported three new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number to 12 cases.
