Riyadh-Mubasher: Abdullah Al-Khodari Sons Co. has received SAR 9.09 million ($2.42 million) in compensations for the cabinet’s decision to impose work permit fees on foreign workers, the company said in a bourse statement.
The relevant financial impact will be reflected in the company’s financials for the first quarter of 2016.
Al-Khodari added that the compensations for the under-construction projects will continue to be on the rise.
In November, the company asked the government to pay compensations to mitigate the cost of imposing work permit fees.
