Mubasher: The income statements of Al Kout Industrial Projects reported a growth of 47.8% in profits during the second quarter this year compared to the same period in 2016.
Earnings increased to KWD 1.98 million ($6.56 million) in Q2-17 compared to KWD 1.34 million ($4.44 million) in Q2-16, according to a bourse statement issued on Thursday.
During the first six months of 2017, profits rose by 27.7% to KWD 3.74 million from KWD 2.93 million in H1-16.
The growth in profits is attributed to higher sales and operating earnings, Al Kout said.
In the first quarter of 2017, Al Kout had registered a rise of 10.7% in profits to KWD 1.76 million from KWD 1.59 million in Q1-16.
