Kuwait-Mubasher: Al Kout Industrial Projects posted a decline of 15.7% in the second quarter’s profits in 2016 as compared to the same period in 2015.
Earnings decreased to KWD 1.34 million ($4.43 million) in Q2-16 from KWD 1.59 million ($5.25 million) in Q2-15, according to a bourse statement issued on Sunday.
During the first half of 2016, Al Kout’s profits recorded a 43% growth to KWD 2.93 million versus KWD 2.05 million in H1-15.
The increase in H1 profits resulted from a stake in an associate, the statement clarified.
