Kuwait – Mubasher: Al Madina for Finance and Investment achieved a 64.7% increase in profits during the second quarter of 2016 as compared to the same period of a year earlier.
Earnings grew to KWD 1.2 million ($3.98 million) in Q2-16 from about KWD 728,830 ($2.42 million) in Q2-15, according to a bourse statement.
During the first half this year, the company achieved profits worth KWD 1.66 million versus losses of KWD 1.35 million in the same period of 2015.
