Dubai – Mubasher: Al Maktoum International Airport at Dubai World Central (DWC) is expected to witness about 800,000 passengers during the 45-day upgrade of Dubai International's (DXB) southern runway.
About 32% of flights at DXB will be reduced for upgrade works during the 45 days, CEO of Dubai Airports, Paul Griffiths, said.
In addition, more than 90 million passengers are expected to travel through DXB over the course of 2019, he added.
