Al Mal Investment incurs higher losses in Q1

Mubasher: Al Mal Investment suffered a leap of 300.7% in losses during the first quarter of 2018 compared to the same period in the previous year.

Losses enlarged to about KWD 583,170 ($1.94 million) in Q1-18 from nearly KWD 145,540 ($ 483,540) in Q1-17, according to a bourse filing on Tuesday.

The increase in Q1 losses is attributed to a change in the fair value of investments, in addition to the income statements of associates in Q1.
